I’m sorry for being a little MIA, we were on a family trip to Times Square! Yep, brought my little 3 month old to Times Square and he did so good. 🙂 Proud of him!
So I know I didn’t post my Boxycharm unboxing last month, that’s because I wanted combine both boxes since we got some awesome goodies!
First I’ll show you all what I got in each boxes and then the demo!
I got the Santa Ana – Ofra Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick. This is my second liquid lipstick from them and I’m super excited. I can’t wait to try this out. This guy is worth $19.90
Up next is the bioBelle sheet mask in a pack of three. I love sheet masks and I can’t wait to try this out. This is worth $14.97.
This is one of the main things that got me excited last month. I am super happy getting another Luxie brush. You can never have enough brushes honestly. Plus, I love their brushes they are amazing! This is the 640 Pro Precision Tapered brush. You can use this to apply your highlight or setting powder. This brush is worth $24.
We also got a palette this month. I was hoping to get the #2 or #3 palette but I got the #1 instead. I got a palette that is really similar to this one, that’s why I didn’t swatch it cause I am planning on giving it to a friend. This baby is worth $28.
Now! I kinda cheated and checked out the spoilers and was EXTREMELY happy seeing that we would be getting an Artist Couture hightlight. I’ve been dying to try these out but never got the chance to buy one. So, getting this guy totally made this month’s box worth it. This is worth a big $26.99 and I also got the shade Illuminati.
Overall, was the June box worth it? Uh, YES! I am so happy that BoxyCharm has stepped up their game! We’ve been getting some amazing products and I’m so happy to have renewed my subscription to them. The June’s box is worth a big $112.96USD so, about $143.40CAD. DEFINITELY WORTH IT 🙂
Let’s see what we got next in this month’s box 🙂
I got the Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip in the color Lock Diary. This was from the Hello Kitty collection, the bottle is a bit different but the cap is still the same as the other one. I took the one that I already had swatch. I’m planning on giving this one to my friend. 🙂 It’s a beautiful pink shade with a purple undertone. This guy is worth $6.
Up next is the Uni-Brow Eyebrow Pencil by WinkyLux. I’ve never heard of this brand, so I’m quite excited to try this new product. They say it’s a universal shade, fit for any type of color. The pencil is worth $12.
I also got a setting spray by Project Beauty. I can’t wait to try this out. This is worth $32.
Next is the BareMinerals – Invisible Light Translucent Powder Duo. There’s a matte and glow powder. It says on the card that it’s good on all skin tones. In my demo you will see that I used the matte side to set my makeup and the glow to highlight. I found that this gave me a natural subtly glow. This duo is worth $32. So far, I find it does the job. I would need to play with it more to decide if it’s really worth it or not.
Finally, this guy! The Electric Eyes Palette from Blinc. This is the most creamiest, highly-pigmented palette that I’ve seen besides the Juvia’s Place and the Anastasia Beverly Hills – Modern Renaissance palette. It swatches beautifully. It sucks that there isn’t any matte shades but other than that the colors are simply beautiful. The look that I’ve created, I used this palette and the On-The-Go palette we received back in September 2016. My favorite is the rose-gold shade. This is worth $45.
Overall, Boxycharm is on a definite roll right now. They have been killing it since April. The July box is worth a big $127USD, so about $159.95CAD. Once again, if you are looking for a makeup subscription box. This is definitely WORTH IT! 🙂
